Oomg Oorala!! Is an irak a real mythical creature, or one of your own design?
Yay! I’m so glad you like, Oorala. I love her, too. The Irak is a creature of my own design. Benbe just popped into my head fully formed. 🙂
I just met Nasir and I’m kind of surprised, I thought he’d be a gentle, poetic type. Why is Ameenah attracted to these warrior types (including Oorala)?
I think you will find Nasir more poetic and gentle as you get to know him 🙂 I think Ameenah is attracted to strong personalities like her own. Nasir and Oorala are fighters, but they are also survivors and people who care deeply about the world around them. That makes them very compelling characters to her.
